About the league

Sudan Youth Basketball League is where 1st–6th graders build real basketball skills. Every practice works on specific fundamentals, so players leave each session a little sharper than they arrived.

What practices cover

  • Ball-handling
  • Shooting form
  • Footwork
  • Defensive stance
  • Basketball IQ

Game days are where it comes together. Players learn to compete hard, play the right way, win with class and lose with grace, and lift up the teammates beside them, whether that's a pass, a screen, or a high five after a missed shot.

Parent participation is vital for this league to succeed. Parents are expected to help with clock/books, concession stand, and clean up.

I, hereby release the Sudan Little Dribblers/Hornet Hoops Organization and its designated leadership and affiliates from accident liability and obligations.

Parent/Guardian Code of Conduct

  • I will put the emotional and physical well-being of youth participants ahead of a personal desire to win.
  • I will respect players, coaches, officials, spectators, and families at all games.
  • I will respect the decisions of officials or coaches.
  • I will not engage in any violence or verbal threats or use any profanity.
  • I will not yell advice to my child during a game.
  • I will model good sportsmanship for all youth participants.
  • I will not belittle or ridicule anyone involved in a youth sporting event – in public, private, in-person, or online.
  • I will do my part to keep sports fun and positive for every youth participant.

Can I register more than one child?

Yes. Add each child on the same registration form. The first player is $65, and each additional player is $60.

What jersey sizes are there?

Youth small, medium, and large, and adult small, medium, large, and extra large. You choose a size on the registration form.

Are there fundamentals clinics this year?

No. Unfortunately, we will not be holding any fundamental clinics this year.
